On July 16 2021, under the joint guidance of Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Economics and Information Technology, hosted by Zhejiang University Engineering College (Zhejiang Institute of Engineering) and Zhejiang Small and Medium Enterprise Service Center, joint organized by Holley Technology and many more enterprises, the final round of the 1st Engineer Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the 2021 “Creators China” Zhejiang Region Specialized Competition for Creators was held at the Multi-functional Lecture Hall of Industrial Education V, College of Engineers, Zhejiang University.
A number of important leaders were specially invited to attend the competition, namely: Chen Fengqiu Vice President, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang University College of Engineers, Lao Junhua Director of Enterprise Service Department of Zhejiang Province Department of Economy and Information Technology, Gao Qiang Chairman of Zhejiang Equity Investment Industry Association, Zhu Hong, Chief Engineer of Holley Technology, and Du Xuhong, Deputy Director of Zhejiang Torch Productivity Promotion Center, .
The first stage of the competition was presided by Zhao Zhang Yao, Vice President and Party Committee Member of Zhejiang University College of Engineers, Vice President Chen Fengqiu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Engineers and Lao Junhua, Director of the Enterprise Service Department of Zhejiang Province Department of Economy and Information Technology. They all delivered welcome speeches, and projected that the competition was a great opportunity to implement the innovative and pragmatic spirit of Zhejiang University and also added that the College of Engineers not only created a good environment for young entrepreneurs but also provided an innovative platform, hoping that young people will be more innovative and compassionate entrepreneurs and contribute their wisdom to economic and social development as well as the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.

During the donation ceremony session, Zhu Hong, Chief Engineer of Holley Technology, presented the donation certificate on behalf of the company. He expressed that he was honored to participate in this year’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and hoped to strengthen the school-enterprise cooperation relationship between Holley Technology and Zhejiang University College of Engineers, vigorously develop innovation and entrepreneurship projects, attract professional talents and achieve better development.
Prior to closure of the competition, 12 groups of project teams presented their project contents consecutively, among these projects, various of them were related to technological intelligence, such as: Renault Intelligence, Underwater robotics, Infrared detector chip, Textile industrial internet, etc. The initiators of each project gave a vivid interpretation of the project, which was positively assessed by all the participants in the conference.
At the end of the session, Zhu Hong presented the prizes to the winning teams , then had an insightful discussion with them and finally congratulated them on their victory.
As a co-organizer of this year’s competition, Holley Technology, in line with its high regard for innovative and entrepreneurial talents, cooperated with the College of Engineers of Zhejiang University to provide a broad platform for talents with innovative and entrepreneurial ideas to promote the development of innovative and entrepreneurial technology and achieve“win-win cooperation”.
